A network of responsible farmers from Nelamangala

Mr. Maganappa works closely with a strong network of approximately 450 farmers across the Nelamangala region, all practicing responsible farming methods. He supports the group end-to-end , right from supplying quality seed material to providing continuous guidance on farming practices and preparing natural inputs such as kashaya, jeevamrutha, neem oil, and other on-farm formulations. Regular farm visits and frequent farmer meetings form the backbone of knowledge sharing and collective learning within the network. Harvest days are especially vibrant, with produce arriving steadily at Maganappa’s warehouse from around 4 pm onwards,a busy and reassuring sight of fresh harvest coming in directly from the fields. Together, the farmers grow a wide variety of vegetables and fruits, cultivated without chemical inputs, supported by completed group certifications.

Petrichor Doddabele Farm

Our Doddabele farm has evolved into a model regenerative farm, showcasing a diverse, well-planned ecosystem built on multi-cropping and thoughtful farm design. Each crop is grown with clear intent and visible practices, from structured beds and mulching to planned crop rotations that protect soil health and optimise yields. Composting and vermicomposting form the backbone of soil nourishment, supported by in-house preparation of natural inputs such as buttermilk solutions, kashaya, and milk-based microbial cultures. The farm consistently yields healthy harvests of leafy vegetables—palak, coriander, amaranthus, and other greens—while select vegetables like tomato, brinjal, and chillies are grown in smaller, controlled volumes, reflecting a balance between diversity, soil regeneration, and quality-focused production.
