Naturally grown Pomegranate from Pune
Pune, Maharashtra
Mahesh follows a cow-based, chemical-free approach to farming across his 5-acre farm, with a strong focus on building long-term soil health rather than chasing short-term yields. The soil is nourished using natural, on-farm inputs prepared from cow dung, cow urine, plant extracts, and fermented solutions that enhance microbial activity and overall soil life. Pest and disease management is carried out through simple, traditional practices such as botanical extracts, natural repellents, and preventive farm management, avoiding the use of synthetic chemicals. The farm is thoughtfully diversified, with 1 acre under custard apple, 1 acre under pomegranate, 1 acre under strawberry, and the remaining 2 acres dedicated to other berry varieties. This low-intervention, regenerative approach allows each crop to grow at its natural pace, resulting in fruits that are clean, nutrient-dense, and rich in true, varietal flavour.
