Cultivation Method

Mahesh Pomen is among the few farmers in the country who practise natural berry cultivation. He follows a cow-based, chemical-free farming. Physical pheromone traps and farm made inputs such as kashayas and neem oil is used for pest and disease control. Raspberries are grown under protected polyhouse conditions, where light, airflow, and moisture are carefully regulated to suit the crop’s sensitive nature.
